Course Description
Advanced college preparatory writing course for upper high school students who already have a firm grasp of grammar concepts and the methods taught using the IEW Structure & Style.
Course overview: The approach to the writing exercises emphasizes the classical method of building up the student’s reasoning and articulation skills through a series of interrelated writing exercises. A variety of essays will be taught as well as how to write a research paper.
IMPORTANT: All high school English classes have a rotating curriculum. The curriculum is incremental and builds upon the previous year. This enables students to fulfill all their English graduation requirements.
