  • Course Description

In this class, students will be introduced to numerous business and management
strategies in the areas of marketing, human resources, and finances. We will explore
how to develop different types of businesses. In our first semester as a class, students
will create a pseudo business as a bakery with the potential to make sales and profits.
In our second semester students will create or develop their own business plan and
portfolio.

  • Classwork/Homework

This class is interactive with group discussions and hands-on activities in class.
Homework is minimal as business design and research will be done during class time.
Homework will consist of reading assigned chapters or videos to prepare for the next
class in google classroom. Graded homework will consist of quarterly presentations and
projects.
