Course Description
This course provides a comprehensive survey of the Old Testament, emphasizing its historical context, literary genres, theological themes, and canonical unity. Students will explore the storyline of Scripture from creation to restoration, learn foundational hermeneutical skills, and examine how the Old Testament anticipates and informs the New Testament. Instruction is content-rich, discussion-based, and developmentally appropriate for high school students.
Homework
Students will have a variety of homework assignments ranging from discussion boards to online worksheets. They will also have weekly text copy assignments. Allow 1-1.5 hours per week for homework.
