Course Description
Fundamentals of Math will help prepare your students to move on to intermediate middle school math when they are ready. We will cover topics such as decimals, fractions, order of operations, patterns and sequences, powers and roots, prime and composite numbers, and many other fun concepts!
Class time will be utilized to teach the concepts for each lesson. Students will work on lessons at home, estimating approximately 30-45 minutes per lesson. Answer keys will be sent via e-mail, and parents will be required to grade all assignments, with the exception of tests. Tests will be administered in class together to help alleviate test anxiety.
