US Citizenship Test
Beginning with the Class of 2025, Oklahoma students must take a 100 question test using the questions from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services website. The law requires that students get at least 60 of the 100 questions correct in order to graduate. See House Bill 2030 (2021).
Homeschool students may satisfy this requirement by taking a multiple choice test through TCC. The test will be provided online and proctored by a parent. Scoring will be completed by TCC upon submission of the test. If at least 60 questions are answered correctly, a print-ready certificate will be emailed.
What is the cost to take this test through TCC?
If students are currently enrolled in a Government class offered at TCC, the first test is free.
All other TCC students - $15/test
Non TCC students - $20/test
