Course Description
Students will engage in class discussions, independent study, and weekly hands-on experiments using the scientific method.
Weather and Water: Study the atmosphere and oceans of Earth. Discover what weather is and how oceans affect weather systems.
Our Universe: Explore our solar system and the universe. Learn about planets, Earth's special design, and information about stars and comets.
Our Planet Earth: Learn about our unique planet, rocks, the Genesis flood, and the Ice Age.

Classwork / Homework
Class time will consist of guided note-taking, group discussions, and hands-on activities. Throughout the week, students will complete reading assignments, answer study questions, and record observations from class experiments. All of the material will first be introduced in class. Students will print the homework that is posted weekly to Google Classroom.

Students will have 2-3 at-home projects during the year.
