Course Description
This course helps students learn and practice addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division facts through explicit instruction, hands-on learning activities, skill and drills, timed tests, and games. Topics may include adding with carrying, subtracting with borrowing, elapsed time, making change, etc.
We will also spend time in class strengthening foundational math skills necessary for success in any math class.

Classwork / Homework
Students will practice math facts daily at home using a combination of free online fact practice websites, skill and drill sheets, and flash cards.

Weekly time commitment: approximately 1 ½ hours/week

Required Books & Materials
The instructor will provide coursework. Students must be able to print materials at home and bring to class.
Each student needs a set of multiplication flashcards for at-home practice. (0-12)
