Course Description
This course helps students learn and practice addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division facts through explicit instruction, hands-on learning activities, skill and drills, timed tests, and games. Topics may include adding with carrying, subtracting with borrowing, elapsed time, making change, etc.

We will be using the Saxon 5/4 workbook for coursework. Please look through this table of contents to make sure your child is ready for this material OR needs to advance to the next level. We do not have enough time in the year to get through every lesson, so you may want to purchase the Solutions Manual and complete the missed lessons at home.
NOTE: We use a different program for multiplication facts (first semester) that I will print and send home for homework that the parent grades.
Course Objectives
• Learn math facts to fluency
• Strengthen basic math skills
