  • Course Description

This class is designed to be a source of instruction, support, and accountability for seniors applying for college. 

 

Students will develop and be accountable to their college application timeline so that they don't miss important deadlines. Students will learn how to complete all components of college applications to yield the most favorable results. 

 

Among other topics, there will be instruction on writing the most compelling essays, interacting with college admissions representatives, and pursuing scholarships.

  • Required Books & Materials
  • Laptop or tablet should be brought to class each week.

  • Students will sometimes be required to print from home and bring papers to class

Up to 1-2 hours per week. Assignments might include personal self-discovery exercises or conversations with parents. All work is intended to be helpful and useful for college research and/or applications.
