Course Description
The focus of this course will be the fundamentals of grammar, experiencing great writing through great literature, and the basics of literary analysis such as character development, setting, theme, and symbolism. No previous knowledge of grammar concepts is necessary.
In addition, the basic concepts of paragraph writing and beginning IEW (Excellence in Writing) concepts will be covered.
Literature books will be written in. Please purchase a personal copy.
Winston Grammar: *The worksheets and notes will be printed from our Google Classroom assignments page. The card set is the only purchase for grammar and is used for the Advanced LA class as well.
