Description
The objective of the Student Leadership Council is to allow students to grow as leaders and to participate in service opportunities within TCC and in the community.

We're looking for students who:

Have a growth mindset

The Student Leadership Council will help with the following:
-
Plan and execute TCC student activities
-
Assist with special events like Open House, Meet the Teacher, Graduation, etc.

Partner with FBC local missions and mobilize TCC students to participate

Encourage and support students new to TCC

SLC will meet periodically (2-3 times per month) during 5th hour on Tuesdays. There is no monthly fee for this class period, but students must apply for acceptance. Priority membership will be given to students who participated in our pilot SLC year in 2023-2024.

Throughout the year, SLC will read and discuss selections from John MacArthur's book, Twelve Ordinary Men. SLC members will also be invited to a summer planning meeting. Time TBD (late July or early August)
