Course Description
"Isaac Newton believed that all knowledge- including knowledge of nature- was, in the end, knowledge of God." Mitch Stokes. Physical Science is a high school-level lab science but may be taken in 8th-grade students who are ready to learn abstract concepts that require higher-level thinking. Students will learn to take good notes and to study independently from a textbook. Each week students are assigned a module from the text. In class, they will conduct experiments, and work through integrated math principles, as well as content from the current module. Throughout the course, we will highlight evidence for creation and a Creator. Quizzes and tests will be given in class.
