Classwork/Homework
Students will keep a planner to bring to class every week, participate in class discussions, complete hands-on individual and group activities.
Homework: The homework for this class will be using the planner every day for each class. Other homework assigned for this class will relate to other academic classes taken by the student. For example, an assignment may be for students to write down the late work policy for their other teachers.
Parent Responsibilities: For this age, parents can help their child the most by sitting with them to learn Google Classroom, providing a routine for school work, and create a designated area for them to work, without interruptions. It is helpful to encourage students to pack up their school things the night before so it is ready in the morning. These behaviors will reinforce what students are learning in class.
Google Classroom: Each week students may need to print materials needed for class from Google Classroom.
